IO Interactive pushed a minor update to Hitman 3 today that brings Le Chiffre back as an Elusive Target – complete the challenge to claim an exclusive cosmetic for 007: First Light. It matters because players who missed the original run get another chance at the mission and the tied reward.
Console downloads will show this as Hitman 3 update 1.031/1.30. There are no gameplay changes in this drop, but the return of Le Chiffre gives players a fresh goal and a neat cross-game item for IO Interactive’s upcoming Bond project.
Hitman 3 – Le Chiffre returns via Update 1.031/1.30
Mads Mikkelsen is back as Le Chiffre from Casino Royale, playing the desperate banker who set up a high-stakes poker game at Casino Monarchique in Paris. Agent 47 has to slip into the event and stop whatever Le Chiffre is planning before it spills out into the wider world.
The Banker Elusive Target will be available starting today up to Sept. 14.
The Banker Pack lets you get permanent access to the mission, plus an exclusive suit and items. The ICA has prepared some special gear for hunting Le Chiffre:
- The Banker King of Cards Suit: A dark ensemble patterned with all four suits, so nobody knows which card you will pick.
- The Banker Rope: Tie up an investment or something else. It’s described as sturdier than the Dow Jones.
- The Banker Silenced Pistol: A sleek black pistol with a matching silencer for quieter approaches.
- The “Casino Monarchique” Chip (1.000.000): A million-value chip you can use to distract or provoke the guests.
- A cosmetic set for the Freelancer Safehouse
Players who complete the challenge will receive an exclusive reward for IO Interactive’s third-person action game, featuring a new James Bond in 007 First Light, which will release in 2026 on consoles and PC. Want the Hitman tag on our site? Check out our Hitman 3 tag for more stories and guides.
