It was about time we see something like this. After being locked up on the Epic Games Store for over three years, the Kingdom Hearts HD titles and Kingdom Hearts 3 are finally making their way to Steam. On June 13th, you can grab Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts 3 with the Re Mind DLC all on Steam.
Better late than never, having these games on Steam it’s a win-win for everyone. Epic Games exclusivity? Nah, we’re all about that Steam life now. But before you get too excited, there’s a tiny bummer, Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, the rhythm-based game that continues the story after the events of Kingdom Hearts 3, isn’t part of this deal.
What people don’t know is that Kingdom Hearts 4 is in the works! It’s being developed on Unreal Engine 5 and is rumored to launch in 2025. We’re heading to Quadratum, a new world where Sora will eventually reunite with Donald and Goofy. No word on which platforms it will be available on yet, but we’re about to be
