If you’ve been on the fence about Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, now’s a pretty sweet chance to test it out on PS5. The medieval action RPG, which many call one of the best games of 2025 so far, is getting a free trial through PlayStation Plus Premium’s Game Trial catalog.
This trial isn’t just a quick teaser; you get a solid four hours to immerse yourself in the full game experience and see if it clicks with you. Plus, the game is 25% off right now on the PlayStation Store, so it might be a good moment to snag it if you like what you play.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has been getting praise from critics and players worldwide, earning a “Mighty” rating on OpenCritic. Our own Callum Marshall gave it a perfect 10/10, calling it “an unapologetically distinct RPG that takes everything that was great about the original and takes it to the Nth degree.” The combat, story, and voice acting have all been highlighted as major improvements over its predecessor.
Keep in mind, though, that this trial is only available to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers, the priciest tier of the service. If you’re not subscribed yet, it might be worth considering, especially since the subscription fee could increase soon.
Besides exclusive game trials, this subscription tier also includes classic games, on-demand movies, PS5 cloud streaming, and the usual monthly games and online play that come with the lower tiers.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is available on Steam and Xbox as well, but those versions don’t have a demo to try out, and the sale is exclusive to PS5 for now.
