King of Meat begins Early Access today on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, and will fully release on October 7. It’s a slapsticky action platformer from UK studio Glowmade, and it’s built around co-op play first, chaos second.
Former Lionhead team members founded Glowmade, and Amazon Games is publishing the title. The game wears its comedy on its sleeve and aims to be a party platformer, but not everyone has a friend list complete of willing victims, so I spent time testing how it plays solo.
If you’re the sort who prefers to go it alone, the video gives a clear look at how the solo experience stacks up to the intended co-op chaos. If you like chaotic platforming with a comedic coat of paint, you’ll want to peek at this one before October 7.
