According to CD Projekt Red president and CEO Adam Kiciński revealed in an earnings call this week, Hollywood star Keanu Reeves played Cyberpunk 2077. He still hasn’t completed the game (estimated to have about 175 hours of gameplay!), but he ‘loves it already.’
Here’s Kiciński’s response when he was asked if Keanu has tried the game yet:
Definitely, he played the game and he loves it,” said the CDPR chief.
Keanu’s inclusion in Cyberpunk 2077 is one reason why fans so hype up the game. He’s playing the role of Johnny Silverhand. An evil corporation killed Johnny Silverhand, and for some reason, his spirit (so to speak) had been contained in a biochip. He now wants to get revenge on his killers, and he’ll require V’s help.
It was revealed that Keanu Reeves would feature in Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 2019 when the game’s cinematic trailer was being played. In the end, we get a short glimpse of Johnny Silverhand, and that was the only thing needed to make the crowd go wild.
After a handful of delays, Cyberpunk 2077 will finally release on December 10th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Google Stadia.
