Kai Cenat posted a 23-minute YouTube video called “I Quit” on Jan. 13, 2026. He said he is not walking away from streaming but is changing how he defines himself by launching a clothing brand and a different kind of YouTube channel.
The biggest announcement was Vivet, a clothing label whose name translates to “will live” in Latin. Cenat said the project grew out of months he spent in Italy learning about design and production. He described the brand as a real interest, not a name slapped on merchandise, and said the move represents a new creative focus.
Cenat framed the video around personal growth and a decision to stop letting one identity limit him. “The energy and passion to want to do more and create is within me. That is why I quit. I quit thinking in my head of the goals I want to achieve and not pursuing them because I’m primarily known for one thing and (I’m) super scared to step out of that box and try new things,” he said.
Alongside Vivet, he revealed a previously private YouTube channel called kai’s Mind. The channel contrasts with his high‑energy streams and aims to document quieter work like reading to improve speaking, exercising, and learning to sew. The videos show him taking a slower approach to building new skills.
Cenat made the changes after a long Twitch break that followed his record-setting Mafiathon 3. He emphasized he is expanding what he does rather than quitting content altogether.
