July’s PS Plus Essential games have landed, offering a mix of intense combat and adventurous climbing for PlayStation players. This month’s selection includes titles for both PS5 and PS4, giving subscribers a solid variety to choose from during the quieter summer stretch.

The lineup is now available across the UK and Europe, with the US to follow later in the day. It also coincides with the 15th anniversary of the PS Plus service, though the games themselves don’t shout it out.

July 2025 PS Plus Essential Games

  • Diablo 4 (PS5, PS4) – The big draw this month, Blizzard’s latest action RPG brings its trademark dark fantasy slaughter to PlayStation.
  • The King of Fighters XV (PS5, PS4) – Fighting game fans get their fix with this entry in the classic series.
  • Jusant (PS5) – A climbing adventure that’s all about scaling huge vertical worlds.

Our usual reader poll revealed that only 24% of voters thought the selection was poor, which is kinda refreshing in a world where negativity often dominates. About 41% felt positive about the games, and 19% thought they were just okay. Not surprisingly, Diablo 4 was the title generating the most talk.

What about you? Which game will you go into first? Are you all in for some demon slaying, button mashing, or vertical climbing? Let me know in the comments below!
