The biggest event in Dota 2’s history, The International 7 is ongoing as professionals around the world measure their skills in a LAN Battle in Seattle. Currently, The International Main Event hasn’t started yet as teams are battling to qualify for the upper bracket.
We’ve been able to witness some amazing matches so far, as Team OG and their very known resilience failed to recover after the first loss against Virtus Pro. Currently, Virtus Pro and OG are very confident on placing in the Upper Bracket as they are sharing the third spot in Group 2, while they’re also one of the favorites to win this year’s The International.
It’s going to be an amazing event, and the groups are just a warm up for what’s about to come. Currently, after the second day of the group stage, the standings are as following:
The International 7 – Group 1 – Day 2 Standings
The International 7 – Group 2 – Day 2 Standings
It’s time for the third day of the group stage, and LGD.Forever Young seem to surprise everyone’s expectations of the group stage. In group one, Team Liquid seems like a very tough opponent to beat, while Evil Geniuses are on the edge of a failure. EG cannot let themselves to lose more games, as they might be put down in the lower bracket of the main event.
Overall, every team will get a taste of the highest Prize Pool in the history of The International, so the underdogs that have somehow qualified with luck, they’re now failing hard.
Hopefully, we’ll witness the very best Dota 2 gameplay ever, and our favorites as always are Team OG. They are the most resilient team in the history of Dota 2, as they’re able to turn the game in their favor by just winning one crucial fight. Their execution is on place, as well as their success. Group Stage day 3 is about to start in 30 minutes, so do not forget to watch it.
