In February 2024, we informed you about an unofficial PC port of Infinity Blade. Today, we’re pleased to announce that its sequel, Infinity Blade 2, has officially been ported to PC and is available for download. And no, this isn’t an April’s Fools joke.
The new PC port includes key binds for vital abilities such as dodging, blocking, and stabbing. It also comes with a standalone launcher that allows players to tweak their graphical settings and controls according to preference.
Players can expect improved graphical fidelity over the iOS version. The port includes features like dynamic shadows and god rays, significantly improving the visual experience. For those who’ve played the iOS version previously, there’s good news: you can transfer your saved files by manually copying them across platforms.
The console commands are a neat addition as well. For instance, “toggledebugcamera” will free the camera from player control, allowing for exploration without boundaries. If you’re in a tough spot during a battle with Titans, simply inputting “exitbossfight” will instantly eliminate any boss you’re currently facing. You can also increase your gold count through “setplayergold x,” where x represents an integer value of your choice.
This is an impressive effort for a game that was once exclusive to iOS devices. Given that it’s available free of charge now on PC, I highly recommend giving it a shot if you’ve missed out.
If you’re ready to start, extract its contents onto your computer. Then, go to the ‘Binaries’ folder and run ‘Infinity Blade Launcher. ‘That’s all there is to it!
For touch-screen platforms like the Steam Deck, users can take advantage of finger swiping just as they were intended on mobile devices; otherwise, mouse emulation for swipes is set as default but can be customized through key binds in the launcher.
