So I’ve been playing Arc Raiders recently, and I’ve been playing it quite a lot. After a couple of days, for the first time… I ran into 2 cheaters in a completely different match lobby as well. Both of them were new accounts, and I am honestly still shocked. Why would you ever do that? Are they responding to community demands for specific items or boosts, or are they doing it for fun?
First and foremost, I have to say that Arc Raiders completely differs from other extraction shooters such as Escape From Tarkov. For example, Escape From Tarkov is a hardcore shooter where the fear of gear literally puts fans on edge. Some are buying boosts and items on the black market, or RMT-ing, because it’s much more rigorous than in Arc Raiders.
Now, the reason I am writing this article is because in Arc Raiders, almost everyone is super friendly if you play in solos. Basically, you can just run around and spam the “don’t shoot” emote, or talk to them on your mic, and no one would touch you. I mean, 9/10 matches you’d be definitely fine, unless you’re the bad guy. So, why would you even cheat in Arc Raiders? Give me one acceptable reason, and I will completely back out on my theory here, but cheating in Arc Raiders makes you nothing but a really weak human being.
So if you’re cheating in Arc Raiders, let me ask you… why? What makes it so much fun for you to cheat in this game? Having a free loadout on the same character where you progress is already a huge thing in this game, unlike in Escape From Tarkov where you need to play on a Scav. So, why would you do it in a game as beautiful as Arc Raiders? A game where 90% of the people are friendly, and you can complete every raid just like that, having fun. If you’re here to gather things, just queue solo and you’ll get them. So let me make this easier for you:
- Google the things you need to do in the game or gather
- Queue in solo
- Spam the “Don’t Shoot” emote or talk to people not to shoot you
- Gather items
- Extract
Instead of paying to cheaters for you to get a boost to get some of the items you need, etc.
