Shortly after its leaks and rumors, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has seen hundreds of players diving into its content before the official release. Apparently, numerous individuals are already playing the game during its playtest. This can be easily confirmed by the amounts of leaks that appeared online. There have been so many of them that even Activision couldn’t DMCA strike the leaked content.
As Insider-Gaming stated: when the initial leaks began, it seemed like only a select few had access. However, as the news spread, the number of players has grown into the hundreds. These players are accessing Black Ops 6 via old PlayStation 4 consoles. The version they are playing appears to be a BETA build that is slated for public release at the end of August.
Activision is currently battling the leaks by issuing DMCA takedowns on content posted online, and it’s quite unclear if they succeed in it. A developer expressed frustration over the situation, stating, “It really sucks to see our big reveal ruined like this. We were all excited to show it off in a big and special way.”
The official reveal of Black Ops 6 multiplayer is scheduled for the end of August at a CODNext event, right before the public BETA launch.
