How to Prepare for Pokémon GO Wild Area 2024

Hey trainers! The excitement is electric as we gear up for the first-ever Pokémon GO Wild Area 2024, happening on November 23 – 24, 2024. This two-day extravaganza promises new mechanics and wild encounters, but let’s be honest, it can feel a bit overwhelming. There’s no need to panic, though, I’ve got your back with this prep guide!

Takeaways from the Fukuoka GO Wild Area event

The Fukuoka event gave us some juicy insights for what’s to come:

  • Battles will be fierce! Gigantamax and Dynamax Toxtricity are set at 800 MP. Bring in that DMax Excadrill squad if you want to taste victory against the DMax Toxtricity.
  • If you’re aiming for those Origin forms of Dialga/Palkia, expect about a 1/10 chance of snagging Roar of Time or Spacial Rend. That’s not too shabby!
  • Mighty Pokémon come with high stakes: they’re level 40-50 beasts with shiny chances galore and a pesky flee rate. Stock up on Safari Balls and Golden Razz Berries!

Item check for GO Wild Area

Your item stash is crucial! Here’s your must-have list:

Poké Balls

You can never have too many Poké Balls! Keep tabs on your supply of Great and Ultra Balls. And hey, don’t forget you’ll get special Safari Balls during the event via Timed Research and Photo Discs. They’re going to be vital in catching those Mighty Pokémon!

Berries

Berries are your besties when it comes to catch rates. If you swim in Rare Candies, consider dumping them into powerful Legendaries like Dialga Origin or Primal Groudon.

Keep Incense, Star Pieces & Lucky Eggs handy

This trio is timeless. Maximize your XP while racking up catches galore during the festivities.

Clean out your Pokémon Storage!

No one wants their storage crammed full just before an epic event! Now’s the time to purge any duplicates or less-than-stellar shinies. It might hurt a little. I know how attached we get, but you’ll thank yourself later when there’s room for all those new catches!

Prepare Your Adventure Effects

If you want to maximize spawns, use Palkia’s Adventure Effect Spacial Rend. Plus, using Dialga’s Roar of Time can keep items active longer, smart moves all around!

Exclusive Tips for Ticket Holders

  • Scoop up Costumed Pikachu through Snapshots or Collection Challenges. They’re cuteness overload and can even shine!
  • You’ll score free Raid Passes at Gyms. Who doesn’t love that?
  • Twelve special trades? Yes, please! Get trading with reduced Stardust costs.

This upcoming Wild Area will surely bring thrills and chills (like dodging that Shundo runaway!). So gather your squad, charge those devices (pro tip: battery packs are lifesavers!), and prepare for an unforgettable experience filled with adventure, laughter, and maybe some frustration because who doesn’t love a good challenge?

Much love to everyone, and have a great day!
