Black Ops 7 is in open beta, and there are free cosmetics and unlocks up for grabs if you play during the test window. The beta officially opens on October 5, but players who have pre-ordered, redeemed a beta code, or are on Xbox Game Pass can join from October 2. The test runs through October 8.
The beta includes a progression track that advances to Level 30, awarding items such as operator skins, emotes, weapon blueprints, scorestreaks, and more. But heads up: only the first 20 levels are available during early access (Oct. 2 to Oct. 5). The final 10 levels unlock with the global open beta on Oct. 5.
Want the complete list? Play a lot, finish daily challenges, and aim for kills and assists to rack up XP fast. Everything you unlock in the beta will carry over to the full game when it launches on Nov. 14.
Level | Reward |
---|---|
2 | “Beta Player” animated emblem |
6 | “Gun Flex” emote |
11 | “Beta Neon” sticker |
15 | “Beta Beasts” weapon charm |
20 | “Beta Maverick” JSOC Faction operator skin, “Beta Leader” Guild Faction operator skin |

30 | “Beta Legend” weapon blueprint for M15 Mod 0 |
To earn all Black Ops 7 beta rewards, play as much as you can between Oct. 2 and Oct. 8 and hit Level 30 before the beta ends. Prioritize kills and assists in matches, and complete daily challenges and missions for significant XP boosts. Early access players only see the first 20 levels until Oct. 5, so if you jumped in on Oct. 2, keep grinding once the global beta unlocks the last 10 tiers.
Played a few rounds and noticed progress moving fast? Good. It’s open beta, so XP gains are usually more generous than later on. Jump in, grind the track, and snag those cosmetics while the beta’s live. Let us know which reward you’re chasing in the comments, and follow us on X and Bluesky for more quick updates.
