Embark Studios‘ multiplayer shooter, THE FINALS, is now available in Closed Beta on PC, and fans of the genre are excited to get their hands on it. What’s even better news is that there’s a guaranteed way to gain access to the first Beta testing period for the game.
By downloading the SteelSeries app, players can sign in or create an account and navigate to the “Giveaways” section. From there, they can find THE FINALS promotion and claim a free key to activate on Steam. However, it’s important to note that this method is only available for those in the NA or EU regions, and a limited number of codes may be available. So, those interested in securing a key should act fast.

Once a key has been obtained, players can activate it on Steam. The game is set in present-day or the near future, with real-life locations that can be altered, exploited, and destroyed in the course of escalating tournaments. The game’s most distinctive feature is that almost everything is destructible, requiring players to think outside the box and use unconventional tactics to win.
The other way to get a beta key for THE FINALS, is by simply visiting the game’s Steam page and clicking on the “Request Access” button. Once you have signed up, you should get a notification via e-mail and access to the game within a few days.
The goal of a match in THE FINALS is to win the most money earned from eliminations, assisted kills, and other combat acts. Completing the objective of “Cashout“, the capture-the-flag variant, yields the most cash. Players must rally to one of three vaults, grab its box, and transport it to a cash-out station, which they must defend through a countdown. The game also has different classes, each with its own set of gadgets and explosives, and teamwork and communication are essential for success.
THE FINALS is currently only available on PC, but it is set to launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X for its official release. The game follows a free-to-play model, with progression following a familiar battle pass system and an in-game store selling customizations.
