Hytale is available today only through its official store on the game website. The title launches in early access on PC and is not sold on Steam at release. Console versions will arrive later and will be available through PlayStation and Xbox stores when they launch.
The official Hytale store is the only place to buy the game right now. Follow these steps to pre-purchase and download:
- Make sure to create an account first.
- Go to the Hytale official website.
- Click on the Purchase button in the top-right corner.
- Pick one of the editions, then click Pre-Purchase.
- You should now be met with the checkout screen.
- Once you’re done, complete the purchase.
A few extra notes from the launch period. Some outlets reported Hytale would skip Steam to avoid negative early reviews. That claim has been disputed by the studio. Early access status
Hytale’s early access release is a portion of the final game. Buying now gets access to development builds and content that will expand over time. Hypixel Studios expects the early access period to last for years as the team adds features and polish before a final 1.0 launch.
