Warner Bros. Games has again delayed the release of Hogwarts Legacy for Nintendo Switch. Initially slated for a July 25 launch, the game will now debut on November 14, the company announced on Friday.
To ensure an optimal gaming experience for fans, Warner Bros. Games is taking additional time to refine the Nintendo Switch version of the popular open-world action RPG.
“We know fans are looking forward to playing on Switch, therefore creating the best possible experience is our top priority,” the company stated on Twitter. “Thank you for your patience.”

Hogwarts Legacy has already significantly impacted since its initial release on February 10 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The game sold over 12 million copies in the first two weeks, bringing in an impressive $850 million in sales and marking the biggest game launch ever for Warner Bros.
Despite the delay, Switch users can look forward to joining the Hogwarts Legacy experience later this year when the game launches on November 14. As the game’s popularity continues to soar, the anticipation for the Switch version is expected to be high.
