Hitman 2 has finally been announced! It appears that Hitman is getting a sequel after all. To make use of the E3 2018 momentum, IO Interactive has announced this exciting title coming to the world of gaming and has joined the family of late announcements before E3.
Hitman 2 is expected to offer somewhat different gameplay, including new mods, unlike the previous titles. The game will introduce a sandbox environment throughout its gameplay, something that we have never seen before. As for the new gameplay, it is called Sniper Assassin for which IO Interactive has published a trailer. It will consist of online multiplayer allowing players to team-up and tackle missions across the world.
Being one of the most exciting announcements, IO Interactive’s statement that “they’re finally able to unleash their creativity” when the studio became independent turned out to be true since it’s the first time we are seeing this kind of feature in a Hitman game. Therefore, it is not going to be “yet another Hitman game.” Instead, it will be more proficient than the previous ones, making players cooperate on their way to successful execution.
Playing with the barcoded Agent 47 has always been a pleasant and amazingly colossal experience. We genuinely believe that this series will embrace players to get a more stealthy approach, as it is supposed to. Because of the new multiplayer mission mode, we think that’s precisely what’s going to happen.
Hitman 2 will include a Standard, Silver and Gold edition. The standard version will consist of the base game, while the Silver will consist of the game, plus the first DLC. Among other things, it will also include a new location, weapons, and a new map.
The Golden Edition of the game, however, will include both of the DLCs. Just as a reminder, Hitman 2 will become available on November 13 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
