Halo Infinite fans have something to look forward to as Season 3: Echoes Within arrives next week. The new season brings a range of exciting content, including new maps, a new game mode, and much more.
One of the highlights of Season 3 is the addition of two new Arena maps, Chasm and Cliffhanger. Chasm is like Halo: Combat Evolved’s Boarding Action, featuring Grappleshots and offering players a unique environment to battle in. Cliffhanger is set on a mountain and is an ONI black site with man cannons. Both maps promise to offer players new and exciting challenges.

Another exciting addition to Season 3 is the Escalation Slayer mode, which was introduced in Halo: The Master Chief Collection in 2021. The mode is similar to Gun Game, where players unlock new loadouts with each kill, ending with the Oddball. There are two variants of Escalation Slayer: Team Escalation and FFA Escalation, providing players with different ways to experience the game mode.
Season 3 also includes a BTB version of Escalation Slayer and a “Super” variant that adds upgrades and special weapons from the campaign. With so much new content on offer, Halo Infinite fans will have plenty to keep them entertained in Season 3: Echoes Within.
