CD Projekt Red’s extension of The Witcher has come in multiple forms. Among them, the Witcher Card Game named GWENT, set in The Witcher Universe. GWENT is expanding its wings to the most popular digital redistribution platform, Steam, and is available as of today, May 19, 2020.

Bluffing may be the strongest asset in winning online battles against other players while securing a strong deck of cards. Geralt, including other iconic heroes from the game, are available at your disposal, to command and conquer whatever’s against you. Each hero has a distinct ability, which can be used in the form of a counter or attack.

More about GWENT, The Witcher Card Game can be found below:

Join in The Witcher universe’s favorite card game — available for free! Blending the CCG and TCG genres, GWENT sees you clash in fast-paced online PvP duels that combine bluffing, on-the-fly decision making and careful deck construction. Collect and command Geralt, Yennefer and other iconic Witcher-world heroes. Grow your collectible arsenal with spells and special abilities that dramatically turn the tide of battle. Use deception and clever tricks in your strategy to win the fight in classic, seasonal and Arena modes. Play GWENT: The Witcher Card Game for free now!

Before the arrival on Steam, GWENT was available to play for free by using the official CDPR launcher. With a beta version since the early date in 2016, the game has come a long way, and it is something the developers would love to maintain and keep in their eyesight for a long time.
