We’ve reached Gunsmith – Part 12, and Mechanic is moving away from the AK builds again. This time, you’re putting together a SIG MPX for a “quiet” job around Dorms, and the checklist is strict: high ergonomics, low recoil, lightweight, and three specific attachments that have to be installed.
Gunsmith – Part 12 Description
Okay, we have an urgent order here, don’t have much time. Some guy stopped by, said wants to sort it out with Reshala, who is operating somewhere around dorms together with folks from the factory. Build him an MPX, with the Tactical Dynamics Skeletonized pistol grip, Annihilator flash hider, and Steiner LAS/TAC 2 tactical flashlight. Aim for a sighting range of 300 or more, ergonomics above 52, weight less than 4 kg, the less than 225 recoil sum. And don’t tell anyone why you need this gun. If Reshala hears about it, he won’t be too happy, and his guys are quite a mean bunch, all served in the military before working at the factory.

Guide

Build Notes
- This is one example of many possible configurations. Your first priority is installing the three required attachments, then tuning the rest to hit 52+ ergo while keeping recoil and weight under the limits.
- The MPX is easy to accidentally push over 4 kg if you over-build it. If you’re failing the turn-in, strip anything “extra” first (heavy optics, chunky mounts, or unnecessary rails).
- The Steiner LAS/TAC 2 is the annoying part: it’s locked behind Gunsmith – Part 18 for direct purchase. If you don’t have that done yet, you’ll need to source it via Flea (when available) or find it in-raid.
