Grand Theft Auto 6 remains scheduled for a November 2026 release, and new PlayStation back-end entries have pushed the title closer to a public price and pre-order window. Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games have reiterated the November 2026 launch after prior delays, and the fresh PlayStation entries are one of the last technical steps publishers use before exposing final listings to players.
On March 1, 2026 PlayStation Game Size posted that “Grand Theft Auto VI title IDs have been added to the PlayStation database” and added that this often precedes pre-orders.

I expect we’ll see something about the game soon, probably the start of pre-orders. pic.twitter.com/PBda1Jvr5p

Title IDs in the PlayStation system identify specific product SKUs and region builds. When publishers register those IDs it becomes possible to attach final pricing, region-specific editions, and digital pre-order packages. There is no fixed schedule between registering title IDs and publishing storefront pages. PlayStation Game Size commented that timing “completely depends on the publisher” and added, “But I don’t think there’s going to be a long wait.”
Public concern about GTA 6’s possible price ramped up after a digital storefront briefly listed the game with a placeholder price as high as $120. That storefront listing carried no final confirmation from Rockstar Games and should be treated as a placeholder rather than an official price. If and when official pre-order pages appear, they will show the final retail price and any pre-order bonuses tied to each edition.
Pre-order incentives are expected to be in-game content of some kind, though the exact items and edition tiers remain unconfirmed. Because the title ID entries are a back-end step ahead of storefront publishing, the new PlayStation listings make it more likely the public will see concrete pre-order packages and prices in the coming weeks rather than months. Questions about whether to pre-order often hinge on price and bonus value. If specific edition tiers and pricing appear, those details will determine whether a pre-order feels worthwhile to buyers.
