First, no special pre-order bonuses have been officially announced. However, every player will get the Tools of Yore decorative set. This cosmetic bundle is a free gift from Obsidian Entertainment, available to anyone playing through Game Pass or purchasing either the Standard or Founder’s Edition. It’s purely for looks, no gameplay perks here, but it lets you customize your character with four tool styles to stand out a bit.

According to the Xbox Wire announcement, the Tools of Yore set will be available indefinitely. So, there’s no rush to grab it on day one, but you might want to get in early if you want to show it off to your friends.

Grounded 2 Editions and Prices

There are two main editions:

• Standard Edition: This is the base game, included with Xbox Game Pass at launch and also available to purchase separately for $29.99. No extra bonuses come with it besides the Tools of Yore set.
• Founder’s Edition: Priced at $49.99, this edition includes the Tools of Yore set plus four premium character skins, a digital artbook called ONYX-PRO, and a soundtrack. It also hints at additional secret items, but details are still to be confirmed.
