Greedland has arrived on Windows with full Xbox Play Anywhere support and a major Version 1.0 update from solo developer VaMP He. Players who own the game on Xbox Series X|S can play on PC without buying again, and progress syncs across platforms.
The 1.0 update introduces a new Lava Area made up of ten levels and an endless mode. The biome brings new environments, tougher mutants, and higher rewards for runs that survive the heat. New gameplay modes and toys are included. A Base Defense mode tasks players with protecting a mercenary outpost from waves of enemies. When defenses falter, players can call in Titan Mechas to turn the tide.
Titan Mechas are now part of loadout customization. Players can pre-equip two mechas and build “Titan Power” during a run to summon them from the sky. The two mechas listed are:
- Bipedal Titan
- Light Titan
The update expands the arsenal and equipment. The Logistics Department added two new Power Armors, two new wide-area damage weapons, five new equipment items, and three new fused equipment pieces. Examples called out in the announcement include the Ice Cyclone and the fused item Phantom Guard. Completionists get plenty to chase. Version 1.0 adds 1000 Gamerscore through a fresh set of achievements tied to the Lava Area, Base Defense mode, Titan usage, and new gear collection.
A multiplayer note is explicit. Xbox Play Anywhere allows cross-device ownership and progress sync, but local co-op remains a shared-screen experience. Cross-platform multiplayer between Xbox and PC is not supported, couch-to-couch local co-op is the intended multiplayer setup.
