Google Stadia Platform will launch this year – GDC 2019

Stadia is a new piece of hardware trying to connect multiple devices providing ease of access to your favorite video games. Owned by Google, it is supposed to launch this year as it has been announced and confirmed during this year’s GDC. According to IGN, Stadia is set to launch in the US, Canada, UK, and Europe first.

Together with the announcement we also received a brand new announcement trailer, revealing the look of its gamepad. Stadia is expected to be supported on Desktops, Laptops, TV, Tablets, and Phones, providing easier navigation for the consumer.

When it comes to power, Google’s Stadia will be stronger than both PS4 and Xbox One combined. Its power will provide the ability to stream games with 4k at 60 FPS. It will also allow players to swap between their favorite devices and continue from where they left off.

Overall, it may sound quite strange to you, but with the Power of the Stadia, game streaming may move to a whole new level. In order to make this happen, Google has partnered with Unreal Engine, Unity, and Havok for Stadia support.

One of the most intriguing features is the State Sharing, allowing players to dwell into your moments. It appears that Game Sharing will become reality, even if played in real time. With just a click of a button, thanks to the new State Sharing, with your permission, other players across the world may continue from where you currently are.

Google Stadia is expected to introduce whole new longevity. Its robust design and powerful hardware should endure longer than what we see on today’s market.
