LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will reach PS5 players one week earlier than planned. Warner Bros. Games adjusted the launch from 29 May 2026 to 22 May 2026, and the change was confirmed in a short video announcing the new date. The game’s official FAQ notes that the revised date also affects early access for the Deluxe Edition. Players who pre-order that edition will be able to start playing on 19 May 2026, according to the FAQ.
The launch trailer can be found below:
Legacy of the Dark Knight gathers characters and references from across Batman’s history and blends them into a single LEGO action-platformer experience. Preview footage and promotional details have shown gameplay elements that lean on the melee and traversal style fans associate with the Batman Arkham games, while keeping the trademark LEGO tone and puzzles. This kind of release-date rollback is uncommon, but it means PS5 players will see the game sooner than expected. For the official note on early access and timing, see the game’s FAQ at the official site.
