One More Level’s Ghostrunner 2 has proven to be a major hit, with the game’s revenue surpassing its production costs within days of its release. According to Bankier.pl, the game generated a staggering PLN 24.4 million (approximately $6.13 million) in revenue as of October 31st, just five days after its launch. This impressive feat demonstrates the game’s appeal and growing fanbase.
The total cost of producing Ghostrunner 2 was approximately $4.2 million, which is equivalent to PLN 16.7 million. This indicates that the game not only covered its development expenses but also earned a profit, a significant accomplishment considering the highly competitive gaming market. However, it is not clear whether this amount includes the costs of marketing and advertising. Both the developer and the publisher, 505 Games, have not disclosed any specific sales figures for the sequel yet.
