Where is the Floppy Disk in Shattered Veil?
Your first task is to locate a floppy disk. For those unfamiliar, consider it an ancient version of today’s USB drives. You can find the Floppy Disk starting from Round 10 onward by tracking down a specific zombie known as the Lab Technician.
The lab technician resides within the mainframe chamber, which is located deep beneath the mansion. To access this area, you’ll need to activate power and use an elevator that leads you to your goal.
Once you’ve reached Round 10, head into the Mainframe Chamber and defeat the Lab Technician to collect the Floppy Disk he drops. This marks your initial step toward acquiring that coveted Ray Gun Mark II.
What to do With the Floppy Disk in Black Ops 6
A quick sprint over to the east side of the mansion is required after securing your Floppy Disk; aim for where you’ll spot a Stamin-Up dispenser near a fax machine buzzing with activity. Here’s where you’ll use your newly acquired floppy disk.
You’ll interact with a computer next to that fax machine, which will print out a code. Be cautious during this process; zombies might be lurking around while you wait for it to finish printing.
The codeword changes each time you retrieve it, so be sure it’s memorable.
Where to Use the Code in Shattered Veil
The next step involves heading to another section of the mansion resembling a nursery near where you’ll find a PhD Flopper dispenser. A chalkboard positioned there displays several letters and numbers.
Your task is simple: match your codeword with what appears on that board, unlocking further progress toward obtaining your prize.
How to Get to the Doppelghast inside the Cell
If not done already, you will want to return downstairs into the Mainframe Chamber and unlock access via Service Tunnel. At its far end lies a glass cell housing an intimidating creature called Doppelghast.
This is where that code becomes invaluable, input it at near door panel and watch as Doppelghast bursts forth. Defeating him nets you something useful: a Severed Arm needed for later steps leading closer towards acquiring Ray Gun Mark II.
Progress deeper into the Service Tunnel until reaching the Armory; there, you’ll locate the DNA scanner next established beside the Ray Gun Mark II case embedded within the wall structure. Simply scan Severed Arm here and voilà! You’ve successfully claimed one of COD Zombies’ most formidable weapons without too much hassle!
