Genshin Impact’s developer miHoYo announced that a brand new version of the game is ready to roll out. The popular free-to-play action role-playing game, Genshin Impact, will get a brand new and improved PS5 version with enhanced visuals, fast loading, and DualSense controller support. The news comes from both the developer and PlayStation posting on their official Twitter profile. Genshin Impact will have its standalone PS5 version later this Spring.

Previously, Genshin Impact was available on the PS5 through backward compatibility. The upcoming release will be completely optimized to work on the PS5 and use its resources to the best capacity, leading to a new, more exciting, and robust gameplay experience.

To commemorate the celebration of Genshin Impact’s arrival on the PS5, the developer has also published a new PS5 Announcement trailer, detailing some of the improvements that are on the rise.
