Epic Games has just announced that the new limited time mode, Solo Showdown is in power. Unlike previous events, this time you’ll need to man up solo and try to deliver the best performance ever. Oh, do not worry, you’ll get paid fat based on your effort.

Winners will receive a significant amount of V-Bucks, as out of millions of players only 100 hundred will have the chance to live the occasion and win a portion of the price. Of course, regarding its placement. Epic Games has also announced the event’s rules, including somewhat a moderate policy for entering the contest.

We’ll take a break from speaking as you go through the rules below:

HOW TO ENTER:

Play at least 50 matches in the Solo Showdown LTM.

CONTEST PERIOD:

The Contest is open, and the Solo Showdown LTM will be available, from May 17th, 2018 at 10:00 AM EST to May 21st, 2018 10:00 AM EST.

ELIGIBILITY:

No purchase necessary.

To be eligible for the Contest, you (“Contestant”) must:

  • be 16 or older;
  • be a valid Fortnite licensee under the Fortnite End User License Agreement (https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/eula);
  • have a Fortnite account registered on or before May 15, 2018;
  • play at least 50 Solo Showdown LTM matches.

Those are the rules set up by Epic Games, assuring they’re not big of a problem to any true Fortnite lover. The placement will vary based on earned points after each game, and further info you can find by clicking here. First place will award you 100 points, second place 94 points, third place 91 points, and so on.

Top 5 placement prizes are as follows:

  • 1st Place:  50,000 V-Bucks
  • 2nd – 4th  Place:  25,000 V-Bucks
  • 5th – 50th Place:  13,500 V-Bucks
  • 51st – 100th Place:  7,500 V-Bucks

Despite the Solo Showdown event is currently ongoing, there’s one thing for which we’re sure many players will avoid it, and that’s Epic Games’ statement regarding competitive play coming over the next week. It is expected to be something new and never seen before, as it shall contribute a more serious aspect to the game.
