Epic Games has just announced the arrival of the long-awaited patch 11.40. This is the first Fortnite update that’s set to break Epic Games’ winter break and set Fortnite on a new path. Oh, do not get excited; it’s not a word about a new season. The update, however, is still distant from the time of this writing.
Eventually, the first Season of Fortnite chapter 2 will see its end somewhere in February. Possibly on February 6, but until then, there are obviously a couple of updates to be worked on. The downtime for patch 11.40 was already announced and will occur tomorrow, starting at 4 AM ET.
