Epic Games has somewhat fulfilled players’ wishes by removing the Junk Rifts from all the game modes. Both professional and Casual players have had a desire to see the item out of the game, and even if it’s temporary, it still satisfies their query.
The announcement came on the official Fortnite Twitter profile.
Due to an issue with Junk Rifts, we've temporarily disabled them in all game modes.
We'll provide an update when we have more information.

Season 10 hasn’t been the best of experience for the players. It all began with the B.R.U.T.E, the ruthless mechs that could ruin your game in seconds after landing or mess up your end-game with ease. Later, the Junk Rift item has arrived, making the fans’ revolt conspicuous.
The hurt in the player base has undoubtedly been one of the reasons, and without knowing the exact cause, this might be a test by Epic Games. Simple examination to see how many of the lost player base would return to Fortnite, as we estimate the item to be absent for a more extended time.
