It is estimated that Fortnite will change its terrain very soon to reflect a winter theme. A glimpse of the map has been leaked, which means the files are accessible in the game itself. The whole map will stampede through an alteration, covering every single inch of the terrain with snow.
The map was already leaked by a couple of data miners who are very well known in the Fortnite community. Below you can see the full snow map posted by Hypex.

With a more extended season in Chapter 2, we expect to see Fortnite delaying the season by providing a lot of new content that would spark some interest and sustain the number of players. Even though the current player base is still in a decremental phase, with the forthcoming Live Star Wars event, everyone expects to see Fortnite players coming back to it. Even if the increase will endure for only a day or two, it still offers a slight contribution to its popularity.
