Fortnite Shares Cryptic Squid Game Phone Number with Hidden Audio Message

Epic Games reveals a secret phone number teasing the Fortnite x Squid Game collab with an encoded audio clue.

Fortnite has just dropped a pretty wild teaser for its upcoming Squid Game collaboration by sharing a mysterious phone number fans can call to hear secret audio clues. This isn’t your usual trailer or in-game hint, Epic Games went full cryptic, and honestly, it caught me totally off guard!

Typically, Fortnite crossovers get leaked early by dataminers, followed by official teasers or trailers. Sometimes, there are Easter eggs tucked into the game, like the Hatsune Miku look in Chapter 6, Season 1, hinting at future additions. But this time? Epic decided to play it differently.

You can call this phone number for a secret Squid Game message

The teaser wasn’t even announced upfront on social media. Instead, Epic replied to a tweet by popular leaker HYPEX with an image showing the iconic Llama logo and a number: 121334 81760. Believe it or not, you can dial this number.

If you’re familiar with Squid Game, that number looks like the invitation code from the Netflix series. When you call it, you don’t get a voice message but about 30 seconds of sound effects, a rift opening with faint applause in the distance. Sounds simple enough, right?

Here’s the twist: some clever leakers ran the audio through a visualizer and uncovered a hidden message. The message reads:

  • Red Greens
  • Square Meals
  • Affluent Arrivals
  • June 27

June 27, 2025, is when Season 3 of Fortnite will launch, and this confirms the Squid Game collab drops then too. Wow, talk about a sneaky way to announce a release date!
