With Fortnite 15.40 just around the corner, Epic Games, just like with every other patch, haven’t given us too much info apart from a few hints for tomorrow. The game maintenance is scheduled to start at 4 AM ET so that things get sorted out.
According to the Tweet below, Air Royale and the Floor is Lava will be making a comeback. Additionally, characters will have more exotics in stock for you to grab. By referring to an “unvaulted favorite,” many fans are speculating that it could either be pump shotguns or some other explosive. The patch will also allow you to adjust the object level of detail in the Perf Mode alpha, but only on PC
v15.40 brings:

✅Fun for the whole squad! Characters will have more Exotics in stock for allies (or enemies) to acquire.

We’ll know for sure when Update 15.40 gets released tomorrow. As we’ve said, these are just hints, so the things that fans have been speculating won’t indeed become a reality. However, it’s almost every Fortnite veteran’s dream to see the Pump Shotgun back in action!
