Proximity chat means players will hear the voices of others nearby in the game world. This has been a popular feature in games like Call of Duty and Among Us, leading to unexpected moments and new ways to interact. Imagine hearing an opponent’s whispers or sudden chatter while sneaking around. Sounds kinda chaotic, right? But maybe that’s what they were going for.
In other news, Epic Games’ CEO has denied reports claiming Fortnite’s new Disney mode is delayed due to slow decision-making. So, no slowdowns there. What do you think about proximity chat coming to Fortnite? Will it spice up matches or just add noise?
