Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 has landed with a fresh loot pool that includes 8 brand new weapons and equipment plus a batch of unvaulted gear players loved in earlier seasons. The new season followed the Zero Point live event, which Epic says drew more than 10 million players, and arrives alongside a map makeover that makes early movement trickier now that the Battle Bus is gone. We have previously covered the timing of Chapter 7 in its announcement that Chapter 7 Season 1 begins on November 30 and the server downtime that followed the Zero Point event in our report on how Fortnite servers went offline after the Zero Point event.
Eight new items are entering the loot pool this season, and one of them changes how early games play out: the Wingsuit. With limited landing spots on the island after the Battle Bus was destroyed, finding a Wingsuit early lets players travel farther and touch down in less contested areas.
All New Weapons & Equipment in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1
- Arc-Lightning Gun
- Deadeye Assault Rifle
- Forsaken Vow Blade
- Holo Rush SMG
- Iron Pump Shotgun
- Twin Hammer Shotguns
- Vengeful Sniper Rifle
- Wingsuit
Aside from mobility, there are options across short, mid, and long ranges. The Iron Pump and Twin Hammer aim at close quarters battles while the Deadeye AR and Vengeful Sniper cover the mid and long game. The Arc-Lightning Gun offers a different damage profile for teams who like gadget-style weapons, and the Forsaken Vow Blade is an oddball melee choice for aggressive players.
All Unvaulted Weapons & Equipment in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1
Epic has also unvaulted five weapons and returned a handful of utility and healing items that will be familiar to longtime players.
- All Terrain Kart
- Bandages
- Clinger Grenades
- Chug Jugs
- Dual Micro SMGs
- Enforcer AR
- Tactical Pistol
- Shockwave Grenades
- Shield Kegs
- Shield Potions
- Shield Bubble Jr (Zero Build Only)
- Port-a-Fort (Zero Build Only)
- Med Kits
- Mini Shield Potions
The Enforcer AR gives mid-to-long range options for squads that want to hold angles, while Dual Micro SMGs and the Tactical Pistol flesh out close range play. Healing and recovery are well covered with Chug Jugs and Shield Kegs back in circulation and standard healing items restored for the entire roster of modes. Early season play will likely tilt toward mobility and picking quieter landing zones unless teams secure Wingsuits and transport like the All Terrain Kart quickly. Players who prefer Zero Build should note the season keeps Zero Build exclusives such as Shield Bubble Jr and Port-a-Fort.
