As each update develops in Fortnite, including different Seasons, we tend to make a simple map comparison consisting of two images that are taken in different periods. So, it is time to compare the two maps between Season 2 and Season 3 Fortnite’s second chapter.
This will allow you to notice any map changes easier. Usually, we’re doing this a lot earlier during a beginning of a new season in Fortnite, but we got soaked in the latest season and couldn’t stop playing. Meh, gamer’s life, indeed.
The map correlation between Season 2 and Season 3 is quite impressive. So far, we know that almost half of the Fortnite island has gone underwater, obscuring the clear view of some previously known locations. But that doesn’t necessarily mean that the flooded sites won’t surface. The water level is scheduled to lower as we grind across Season 3’s timeline.
We have managed to identify all of the shrouded locations by unlocking them. Without further ado, take a look at the map comparison below. By adjusting the slider you can preview the old map (left) vs the current one (right), and find what exactly has been changed.
