Fortnite fans have something to cheer for, as the popular game teams up with the Coachella Music and Arts Festival once again, offering players an immersive in-game experience from April 14 to April 28, 2023. With various activities, cosmetics, and music, the event promises to bring the festival atmosphere to your screen.
The highlight of this collaboration is Coachella Island, a virtual oasis created by Alliance Studios and Epic Games. Players can explore the island, participate in minigames, and uncover hidden secrets while enjoying music by Coachella 2023 performer Porter Robinson. The island is accessible via Discover or using the island code 5449-4207-1280.
Completing Coachella Quests on the island rewards players with XP and special items for their Locker. Additionally, Fortnite is hosting the Fortnite x Coachella Challenge, where players must complete an in-game task to earn the exclusive Coachella Island Loading Screen.
In line with the event, Icon Radio on the Battle Royale Island will play a selection of songs from Coachella 2023 artists until May 12. Furthermore, Fortnite’s Item Shop is introducing the Sunset Alto and Desert Dawn Lyric Outfits, along with the original Alto and Lyric Outfits. Players can also groove to the tunes of Coachella 2023 artists Bad Bunny and Burna Boy with the Ask Me and Slide Stride Emotes.
The Good Vibes 2023 Fortography initiative encourages players to capture and share screenshots of their Coachella Island experience using the #Fortography hashtag. Selected submissions will be featured in the Fortography Art Park on the island.
For content creators in the Support-A-Creator (SAC) program, hosting and monetizing VOD content from Coachella Island on YouTube will be possible for seven days, from April 14 to April 21, 2023.
