Fortnite is bringing a fresh update centered around Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins with the upcoming Ninja Blitz Royale event. This update introduces a new Blitz Boss Ninja skin and a set of mythic weapons themed around the streamer, which fans will find pretty interesting.
The update will be available on August 2nd at 4:00 PM ET / 1:00 PM PT / 9:00 PM BST. On that day, Ninja will have full control over the game mode, letting players vote on the loot pool. It’s a neat way to get the community involved in what they want to see during the event.
Before the event, the new Ninja skin variant will be available in the Item Shop starting July 29th. This black and gold version is a twist on his existing Icon Series skin. If you already own the original skin, you’ll get this new one for free, which is a nice touch for those who’ve supported him before.

Ninja has collaborated with Epic Games on several occasions, including the launch of his Icon Series skin in 2020. It’s cool to see him getting this spotlight again with a dedicated event.
Just a few days after this update, Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 will start on August 7th. That season promises a new battle pass, a live event called Super Showdown, a fresh map, and an alien invasion theme. So, players will have plenty to look forward to around that time.
