Sony has announced that five games will be removed from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog around July 15, 2025. This update affects players who enjoy the service’s rotating selection of games, as some well-known titles will no longer be available to subscribers.
The games leaving the catalog include Dying Light 2 Stay Human, Remnant 2, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7, Job Simulator, and Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong. These titles have been part of the service’s lineup for some time, so seeing them go might be a surprise.
However, it’s not all about losses. Earlier this month, Sony revealed that eight new games would be added for Extra and Premium PlayStation Plus members starting June 17. These additions include FBC: Firebreak, Battlefield 2042, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2, theHunter: Call of the Wild, We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie, Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes, Train Sim World 5, and Endless Dungeon.
It’s interesting to think about how the service balances removing popular games while introducing fresh options.
