The anticipation for HEXWORKS‘ upcoming action RPG, Lords of the Fallen, reached new heights today with the release of the official gameplay reveal trailer (embedded above). This sneak peek into the game has sent ripples of excitement through the gaming community, offering an enticing look at what awaits players in this highly-anticipated sequel.

The trailer showcases the game’s vast and interconnected world, five times larger than the original Lords of the Fallen. The game promises to take players on an epic journey through the realms of the living and the dead, each fraught with unique challenges and terrors.

Explosive combat sequences highlighted in the trailer leave no doubt that Lords of the Fallen continues its commitment to a fast, fluid, and challenging combat system. Players can expect heart-pounding encounters with colossal bosses, tactical battles demanding quick reflexes and strategic prowess, and choice between brutal weaponry or devastating arcane attacks.

What sets the game apart is its innovative two-realm mechanic. A key feature in the trailer is the lantern – a device with the ungodly power to cross between worlds. This ability provides a strategic advantage in battles and allows players to explore new areas and unearth fabled treasures.

From what we’ve seen in the gameplay reveal trailer, Lords of the Fallen promises an immersive narrative filled with thrilling encounters, tactical battles, and expansive exploration. Whether you’re a fan of the original game or a newcomer to the series, this glimpse into Lords of the Fallen’s vibrant world is bound to fuel your anticipation for its release on October 13th, 2023.
