505 Games has shared the final PC requirements for their upcoming action RPG, WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers. If you’ve been curious about what kind of rig you’ll need to run this Soulslike set in the late Ming Dynasty, here’s the skinny.
The game follows Wuchang, a pirate warrior suffering from amnesia, who must uncover her past while battling factions and monstrous creatures infected by the Ornithropy disease. As expected from a soulslike, you’ll upgrade weapons, learn new skills from fallen foes, and even use rare resources like Red Mercury to improve your fighting style. You can also customize your weapons with enchantments to fit your combat preferences.
Built on Unreal Engine 5, the game requires a minimum system configuration of an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 processor, paired with 16GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 580 graphics card. You’ll need 60 GB of free space and Windows 10 (64-bit). The specs are tested with DLSS/FSR enabled, which means these are not native resolution requirements, and the target framerate or graphics presets haven’t been specified yet.
For a smoother experience, 505 Games recommends an Intel Core i7-9700 or AMD Ryzen 5 5500 processor with 16GB of RAM, alongside an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070, AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT, or Intel Arc A750 graphics card. An SSD is required at this level.
Interestingly, these final specs are actually lower than the earlier requirements listed on the game’s Epic Games Store page. It’ll be interesting to see which set of specs ends up being closer to reality once the game launches.
505 Games has already provided review codes, so expect a day-1 tech article from me where I’ll check how well the game runs on various PCs and whether it suffers from any stutters or performance issues.
