Far Cry 5 cracked within its first month after release

It doesn’t make the Denuvo Anti-Tamper developers feel good since Far Cry 5 was using this kind of technology to prevent piracy as long as it can. Sadly, it turned out to be mayhem, as CPY has managed to crack Far Cry 5 in exactly 19 days since its release.

Nevertheless, Far Cry 5 had an exceptional run when it comes to sales. The game has managed to top the UK’s sale charts, which is more than impressive. However, it all comes down to the reliability of Denuvo’s Anti-Tamper technology, which should prevent breaking the code for at least a couple of months, depends what the devs agreed on. Most reasonable is the 1-month window of prevention.

It occurred quite fast, and the fascinating part is yet to be spoken. It is amazing how a group of coders has managed to break the code throughout 19 days. Of course, since we’re talking about Ubisoft and Denuvo, this shouldn’t have been an easy job for CPY.

CPY has announced the crack on this subreddit, giving a good link and proof of the modified files. This begins to look of some funny war in the race of who’s better regarding coding. But, one thing remains for sure, and that is the amount of time CPY has spent to crack the game.

My goal is to deliver fresh news and updates, but most of the time I want to work on guides. Since I have rebooted this website, I am planning on making it huge. Just you wait!
