“Farewell of the White Wolf” is an epilogue mod for the Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings, taking place after the events of the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The mod is about the wedding of Yennefer of Vengerberg and Geralt of Rivia, who, even if a Djinn’s spell bounds them together, have genuinely found deep feelings for each other. Even if the mod is scripted initially, it still looks very closely tied to The Witcher universe.
You can download it now from Nexus Mods if you already own an account, and it’s something The Witcher games fans will enjoy, as it took the team of Konrad Chlasta, Kamil Leniart, Patryk Adamkiewicz 5 years to develop this beautiful fan-made expansion. During three days (and even more than that) of adventures, you’re going to see the returns of Geralt’s closest friends, unexpected guests, exciting stories, and more. Here’s the trailer:
The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings was a somewhat underrated game before the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, but it’s excellent if you want to learn more about the world of The Witcher. It features many famous characters from the books and Vernon Roche, Iorveth, and the main antagonist of the game, Letho.
