Last week, Fallout 4 surged to the top of the European game sales charts with a sales increase of over 7500%. This popularity is attributed to the release of Fallout TV series on Amazon Prime Video, but also the discount of the fallout games.
The TV show exclusive to Amazon Prime debuted on April 12 and gathered huge praise. The release of the series seems to have hooked fans Fallout universe, propelling Fallout 4 to huge amount of sales.
GSD data (via GamesIndustry.biz) monitors digital sales across Europe and physical sales in 15 major European countries. However, the GSD data does not track sales from some publishers, including Nintendo, which could have a bigger effect.

In addition to Fallout 4’s success, other titles from the franchise got to the top 10. Fallout 76, Fallout: New Vegas, and Fallout 3 were ranked 8, 9, and 10.
