Fallout 4 has surprised the world with yet another record of 164,000 concurrent players on Steam during the weekend, which credit goes definitely to Amazon Prime’s adaptation of the series. This TV Show and the interested it generated has rocketed Fallout 4 to 164,190 concurrent players on Steam this past Sunday.
Its brotherly title, Fallout 76, has set an all-time high with 73,368 players. Other titles in the series have also attracted new players. Fallout: New Vegas reached 43,632 concurrent players, while Fallout 3 reached over 11,000 players.
This type of player engagement across the series can largely be attributed to the success of the Fallout Amazon Prime TV Show. This success has impacted player numbers and sales, with Fallout 4 topping the best-selling charts in Europe and witnessing a whopping 7,500 percent increase in sales from the previous week.
In a recent post on X, Amazon has confirmed that the Fallout TV series will return for a second season.

This will definitely increase the game’s popularity, which will result in even more players. Who knows, maybe we’ll even see a new Fallout game developed sooner rather than later.
