Developer Codemasters has revealed the official PC system requirements for the highly anticipated F1 2023 game. The upcoming installment in the renowned racing franchise is expected to offer a visually stunning and immersive gaming experience. Still, it will come with the cost of demanding high-end hardware resources.
To run the F1 2023 on a minimum setting, you’ll need a 64-bit processor and operating system. The game will run on an Intel Core i3-2130 or AMD FX 4300 processor, but if you’re looking for the VR experience, you’ll need to upgrade to an Intel Core i5-9600k or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X.
A minimum of 8 GB RAM is required, but 16 GB is recommended for optimal performance. Graphics-wise, an NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti or an AMD RX 470 graphics card is required. However, for Ray Tracing and VR, the requirements ramp up significantly. A GeForce RTX 2060 or Radeon RX 6700 XT will be needed for Ray Tracing, and VR, an NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti or AMD RX 590, will do the job.
The game demands DirectX Version 12 compatibility and a Broadband Internet connection. In terms of storage, a hefty 80GB of available space is necessary for installation. A DirectX Compatible Sound Card is also required, and a keyboard and mouse are required for those intending to play in VR.
