Paradox Interactive’s Europa Universalis 2 is an older RTS that got released back in 2011. Ever since its release, Paradox has released three more games to the franchise: Europa Universalis 3, Europa Universalis: Rome, and Europa Universalis 4. EU2 allows players to control a single nation for 400 years, in a timeline ranging from 1419 through 1820.
