Battlestate Games has decided to disable Bitcoin listings on the Flea Market, just before the installment of patch 0.12.7. Players will no longer be able to sell Bitcoins on the Flea market. Instead, they will have to visit the therapist to do so. This should naturally fight against the Black Market that has had been plaguing the game lately. Multiple preventions have been put in power, as Battlestate Games wants to minimize black market transactions.

Not only the black market ruins the credibility of Battlestate Games, but it also injures the game itself. Due to this issue, hackers will always be ascending, despite the massive amount of bans. If you take a look at eBay, for example, there’s a listing of Lab. Red Keycard that has been sold over 385 times for the amount of $89. Quite frankly, that’s a lot of money, which indirectly has to swirl Battlestate Games in a war against the black marketeers.
Recently, Battlestate Games has also started tracking players that trade valuable gear in-raid. A couple of people have already been banned due to that reason. Those who tend to trade (sell) substantial gear or items consecutively may and will face the banhammer. Therefore, make sure you play the game the way it should be played and obey the rules set by the developer to avoid any unwanted situations.
