It’s official! Pack your bags, say goodbye to your hoarded loot, and prepare for a clean slate because the Escape From Tarkov wipe is upon us! The developers have taken to Twitter to announce the game-changing update that will hit the servers on December 27.
The update is scheduled to roll out at the crack of dawn, 7:00 AM GMT (2:00 AM for the night owls in EST). Patch 0.14.0.0 is the herald of a brand-new start. Players must bid farewell to their meticulously curated inventories and high-tech hideouts as the wipe clears the board for all.

The patch installation is expected to take approximately six hours, assuming all goes to plan. If not, well, Tarkov giveth and Tarkov taketh away. Sometimes, more time is needed to ensure everything is up to those gritty Tarkov standards.
